Robert Clinton Wright, 80, of 154 Westayer Heights, died Tuesday, December 08, 2009. A native of Columbus, NC, he was the son of the late Elmore and Lula Edge Wright. Mr. Wright was a U. S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include a special friend, Betty Brown of the home; a son, Robert C. (Bobby) Wright, Jr. of Lyman; three daughters, Teresa Frances of Abbeville, SC, Brenda Toteck of Zebulon, GA, and Robin Thomas of Christiansburg, VA; a brother Jerry Wright of Charlotte, NC, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 10, 2009, at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Bill Jolly. Interment will be at Wood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, PO Box 10, Startex, SC 29377.
